Akomi’s Library is the primary way to interact with media available in Akomi. It is the landing page for all Akomi users upon login, and will display all media a user has been given permission to view.

- The Library view can be customized to suit each user's needs, and comes with several built in view options listed below
- Each of the different views can also be customized, tailoring the Akomi experience to suit any team's needs

## Grid View

- Grid View is the main library layout, showcasing all media in Akomi. The Grid View organizes clips into rows of four media assets across.
- When customizing the Grid View, the 2-Up view will also be edited, mirroring the accessible fields across both view options.

### **2 UP View**

- 2-Up View follows the same layout as Grid View, but with rows of only 2 Media Assets across. This provides a bigger viewing window, particularly useful for reviewing images. While allowing users to remain on the Library Page, as opposed to visiting a single Media Asset page.
- The 2-Up View can be customized by changing the settings for Grid View.

## List View

![1.3 - Akomi UI - List View- E.png](media://4c57ce9b-f943-4c7a-83fd-c180778fafb6)

- List view is the most compact layout offered in Akomi. With list view enabled, users cannot play media directly from the library, they will need to select a clip and view the Media Page for that clip.
- When customizing List View, NSA recommends limiting the amount of Fields included in the view. Too many fields can make this view option difficult to navigate.
